The Search For Red

A few years ago, some friends (who will remain nameless) made fun of me for wearing lipstick.  But you know what I don't care.  I like it!  It's fun to play a different part, try something new, experiment.  It's not permanent so why not!

Lately, I've been wanting to experiment with Red lipstick ! I see it all over!  Seems everyone on tv, movies, red carpet, etc. is wearing it and I really want to jump on board!  It's just hard to find the right shade of red.  My pale skin, pink undertones and blonde hair don't help the matter.

I mean Michelle looks amazing below, why can't I give it a whirl!

Some time last week I stumbled upon Aarean's post, over at The Color Issue.  Her readers gave her great ideas of some colors to try.  Here are the most frequent suggestions she received:

Last week, after seeing Rachel McAdams sporting amazing red lips on GMA and Live with Kelly, I decided to tweet her sister to see if she knew.

You see her sister is her make-up artist.  Surprisingly, she answered me.  Anyone else get excited when someone actually answers your tweet? I know I do (and I know my girl Susan does!)
