Easter Craftiness

Oh Easter, how I love you, your beautiful colors, what you represent, and the season you bring to us.  Last week I showed you guys my super cute dress that I already bought in preparation for the day.

This past weekend I decided to put yet another pin into action.  I have a feeling many people out there will be doing this idea for Easter decoration.  I found the idea via pinterest and my own pin has been repinned over 100 times.

Now I realize this isn't some brand new idea, in fact my mother informed me that I did this as a child in girl scouts.  Anyone else do Girl Scouts as a child?  Man, I loved it and have such fond memories of our troop and our adventures!  We refused to camp or wear the uniforms! Back to the topic at hand...

All that's needed for this project is: craft thread, fabric stiffener and water balloons (these suckers were hard to find!)

The pin source has a great tutorial for this project, if you need the directions.  But I imagine you could figure out the steps on your own!  I'm just not crafty enough to think of the project all by myself.  Thank you pinterest for suppling ideas!

Not sure if I'll be doing any more Easter crafts, but I do know I'll be having some cakes coming up in the future so stay tuned.

My SIL over at 4 A's and a D is hosting an Easter egg giveaway.  Be sure to check it out and enter!
