Friday's Find: The Wonder of Youtube!

Yesterday, I started to watch what so many of us have in the past few days, Kony 2012.  If you haven't checked it out or have no idea what it is- it's 30 minutes of your life you won't regret!  While I was watching the beginning saw a snippet of a girl hearing for the first time.  It peaked my interest and I had to search for it on youtube.

Now this one might be of particular interest to me as I was this close to going to grad school for speech pathology and have thought many times about becoming an audiologist.  My absolute favorite class in college was sign language.  Sign language was a class that had my full attention; I couldn't wait to go to it every day.  I'm hoping to find some classes to freshen up my skills now that I won't be traveling so much with work.

As I eluded to yesterday, these videos are tear jerkers (at least for me!)

It's amazing what you can find on youtube, some of it disgusting and some of it awe-inspiring.  Nonetheless, it helps makes the world feel a little bit smaller and a bit more connected.
